layer: uptime

Uptime.

How the system stays running. The human side of the builder.

process

How I operate

I care about organization to a fault. This week I sorted my own Gmail inbox into a parent-child label hierarchy with an agent — not because anyone asked, because the mess was in my head and I couldn't let it go. I multitask hard, take on too much, get in over my head. The balance is the thing I'm always reaching for.

context

The work and the life aren't separate

My brother runs a flooring business — I built his site. My uncle and I are building a product together. Most of what I ship is for people I know. That's not a limitation; it's the whole point. The work has real stakes because the users are real people I care about.

maintenance

What keeps me running

I lift, I cook, I still trust work you can measure with a square. Rochester is home. The physical stuff isn't a hobby — it's the other half of how I think. Hands on a problem, whether it's code or carpet, is the same system.
