EduAlly

Backend lead, 8-person team · 2025

An AI study companion for SUNY Brockport that helps faculty meet ADA accessibility rules. I led the backend for an 8-person team through Agile sprints in Next.js and TypeScript.

  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Clerk
  • Prisma
  • Supabase
  • OpenAI
  • pgVector

what I did

  • 01Backend: Clerk auth, Prisma on Supabase, file storage in Supabase Buckets, and an AI layer on the OpenAI API with pgvector retrieval.
  • 02Built an ALT-text generator for faculty uploading PowerPoints, for ADA Title II compliance (required as of April 2026). Still in use: 100+ users and steady positive feedback.

presented

Posters at CCSCNE 2025 and SUNY Brockport Scholars Day 2025: “EduAlly: Integrated AI Education Assistant.”
